Syke outdoor services

Operating in the midpoint of Finland, Kyläkeskus Syke provides genuine nature experiences. The varied forest nature and village traditions form the basis of the services. The wide-reaching backwoods areas of the village offer plenty of game and hunting areas.
Hunting events are built around the hunting and fishing culture of the local hunters. The village hunters organise and guide the hunting events. Accommodation takes place in the new accommodation facilities of Kyläkeskus Syke or in backwoods cabins.
In addition to hunting, we offer hiking and fishing in the area’s wilderness lakes. Come and experience hunting  in traditional culture.

Huntable game species
Grouse (capercaillie, black grouse, hazel grouse, willow grouse), elk, waterfowl, hare, fox and other fur animals

Hunting areas
Approximately 13 000 hectares in village environs.

Accommodation and other services
Approximately 40 beds in 2-6 person rooms within the village centre, a total of 12 separate rooms. Some rooms have shower and WC. Also good sauna facilities. Charter restaurant for 100 serves traditional dishes.
